Describe your own wedding or your ideal ceremony, the one you would like to enjoy. Talk about the venue, the kind of ceremony, everything aroud the bride and the groom and their guests and mention different aspects (speeches, tag and hen parties, vows...) that you consider important to display a full portrait of the event. You must talk for about 4-5 minutes.

  Let's face it,

To start with, my ideal wedding is none, but if I have to talk about this for the sake of my English I will tell you some small lies that I have prepared for this occasion. Ja, ja, ja, ja

I have just laughed although the latter that I have just said it was not very funny. I an sure you know there are many ways of laughing: laugh, chuckle, giggle, roar, cackle, smile, beam or grin, all of them, very necessary for a wedding where you will find all kinds of situations.

 

The first, the stag party

It will be in Bermudas,where we will spend four days doing nonsenses and moonshine: water skiing, formula 1, balconing, swimming with sharks, skydiving but above all drinking, drinking a lot.

 

Second, the venue and the ceremony,

The wedding venue will be a heavenly, golden, sandy beach in the Dominican Republic in the tropics. We will place cute benches full of flowers and there will be a stage where the priest will listen to our vows of everlasting love. In the ceremony there will be bridesmaids, groomsmen, witnesses, pages, confetti, ring bearer, wedding ring, the best man, the guests and of course a bride and a groom. I only hope that that day not to get cold feet.

 

Third, the bride

She will be a beautiful woman, wearing a pure white dress, by the way, it will not be long, but a miniskirt, she will wear a gemstone tiara on her head and in her  delicate, white hands she will carry the bouquet that later toss to the guests. It will be a woman fully in love.

 

Fourth and last, the banquet and the party

We will celebrate a great banquet in a beautiful and modern hotel, which will house several huge pools and a private beach. Seafood, fish, all kinds of meats, delicatessen products will be served and at the end we’ll host an explosive party where my friend Beyoncé will be the guest artist and perform for us.

Write your forum entry.

• Describe what your daily routine is in terms of work, study or leisure activities. 
• State which of those activities you want to change for the new year and why you want to do so.
• Talk about what you will do in the new year in order to change that daily routine.

The alarm is ringing. Ah! It's 7.30. I turn on the light, get up, wash myself and go to buy the bread, after that I prepare breakfast, go for a walk,… maybe I will cut the grass today! I surf the internet ... a bargain! I am cooking lentils today. I take a nap. At eight o’clock, dinner, then I watch an interesting series on Netflix, read a little in bed, listen to the radio, zzzz.

 

The radio is playing. It is 7.30. I need to change my life, I will go out more, go to the cinema, to the theater, to eat out. I need to live new experiences, I will parachute, ride in a balloon,……

 

The first thing, I will make a list, and the last I will carry out everything. This year is the last. I will change.

SPEAKING TASK  En esta tarea tendrás que llevar a cabo una entrevista de radio con un compañero/a.                                           En esta web podrás encontrar estructuras útiles a la hora de solicitar información, junto a una descripción de su grado de formalidad. En este vídeo se muestra el testimonio de una persona que presenta sus recuerdos de la época escolar. En este enlace se revisan estructuras para hablar en el pasado en inglés. Sydney is the oldest city in Australia, the center of economic power, although it is not the capital of the country. Today it is a vital and hospitable city.

It is located in the coastline, washed by the Pacific Ocean. The city has approximately seventy splendid seaports and beaches. Sydney Bay is the largest natural harbor in the world. ​

It has a humid subtropical climate, with mild summers and somewhat cold winters and little rainfall. The climate is moderate due to the proximity of the sea.

Sidney was inhabited by aboriginal tribes for thousands of years. However, its true story begins in "The Rocks", its oldest neighborhood, where the first fleet of prisoners sent by the British arrived. Walking through it, is travel back to the beginning of the 19th century. Its narrow, old and dark streets have kept their wonderful colonial charming.

The people of Sydney are proud of their city, famous around the world for its hospitality. The year of Sydney is full of festivals and other events. Pitt, George and Castlereagh streets are the heart of the trade district. There, you can buy a soft, gigantic, shiny opal. Sydney houses to an extraordinary number of food stalls, cafes, takeaways, restaurants and pubs. It has a large number of museums and art galleries. You can visit the Sydney Aquarium, go surfing, enjoy the spectacular views of the city from the air by helicopter or Globe or swim in a paradisiacal, golden, sandy beach, but ... Beware of sharks!
