3.     Explicit sex scenes in films are degrading to women.

Topic 2:

A. Men are stronger than women

B. Women earn less for doing the same job as men

C. Men are hopeless at doing housework

D. Girls are generally more intelligent than boys and therefore achieve higher at school.

You must talk for about 1.30-4 minutes.

Last weekend, I looked up, collected and reflected on some ideas to talk today about the violence in the movies, censorship and sex scenes in the movies.

There are movies that make us to look away from the screen, and not just horror movies.

A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrik, Martyrs by Pascal Laugier, Natural born Killer by Oliver Stone or Tarantino, Tarantino, Tarantino, the king of the violence and the blood: Django unchained, The hateful eights and of course, Kill bill   are some examples.

Although multiple factors can lead to violent actions, I believe that there is a strong association between everyday violence and violent situations that the media, digital media and entertainment media show us every day, in particular, for the most vulnerable people.

An example; The television program "Salvame" on TV5 is watched by 2,000,000 people every day. In this program the participants shout, confront, interrupt in the bad way each other, insult each other, gossip about other people, and all that at the top of his voice.

A symbolic model of attitudes and behaviors,

Yes, violent and aggressive behaviors.

Censorship, although I believe in freedom of expression, sometimes I have doubts when I see contents that can hurt the feelings of some people, generally, minorities or the most vulnerable population.

So I wonder if censorship is necessary and at that moment is when my legs shake, because who censors censorship?

Finally sex, I think that an explicit sex scene in a movie doesn’t have to be degrading to women in general, as long as that scene has a reason for being, it is necessary to understand the film or improve it.

The awful thing is that many movies are full of unnecessary scenes that only seek to get more audiences.
