Present continuous vs Present simple

         ·       Use the present continuous:
  ·       Use the present simple:
1.    for things that are  happening now, at this moment.
2.    for temporary things that are happening now, this week, etc.
3.    to describe a picture.

2. for things that are generally true or always happen.
3. with adverb of frequency (always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly, ever, never)
1.    What are you doing? I’m sending a message to Sarah.
2.    My brother is doing a two-month course in UK.
3.    In this picture the woman is standing near the window.
1. I get to work at 8.00 every day.
2. Holly knows me very well.
3. He’s always late for work.
